About this test

The Dark Triad is a psychological framework introduced by Paulhus & Williams (2002) that measures three distinct but overlapping personality traits: Narcissism (grandiosity, entitlement, dominance), Machiavellianism (strategic manipulation, cynicism, pragmatic morality), and Psychopathy (impulsivity, callousness, thrill-seeking). Everyone falls somewhere on each of these spectrums — having elevated scores does not mean you have a disorder. Many successful leaders, entrepreneurs, and creatives score above average on one or more Dark Triad traits. This test is designed for self-awareness and personal insight, not clinical diagnosis. Answer honestly to discover where you fall on each dimension.

What you'll discover

Narcissism

Grandiosity, entitlement, need for admiration, and belief in one's own superiority.

Machiavellianism

Strategic manipulation, cynical worldview, and prioritizing self-interest through calculated moves.

Psychopathy

Impulsivity, callousness, thrill-seeking, and low emotional reactivity.
